There is nothing better than having family around for Christmas. Devin and I have been trading holidays for several years now. This year we were with his family for Thanksgiving and mine for Christmas. This year seemed to work out better than it has before.

Devin’s family came down and stayed at our place over the weekend before Christmas. We had breakfast Sunday morning and opened presents. Then for dinner, we hope to have started a new tradition, we prepared a prime rib with all the fixings. It turned out really good!

After they headed home Monday afternoon, Devin and I headed out to my parents house for Christmas Eve (which is also my Grandma’s birthday). We had lasagna for dinner, yummy, and opened our presents from Grandma. Then it was off to bed so Santa would come!

Christmas day is always a bit hectic with my family. We got up in the morning and headed to Kyle and Lea’s, then back to my parents for breakfast and more presents. The French toast was excellent, as always After breakfast, we gathered up and headed out to Grandma and Grandpa’s for Christmas with the rest of the family. It’s nice to have the little ones around again

Well, here’s to another great year, and Devin and my last Christmas sans child!
